I paused my teaching career in 2004 after my son was born. Between the commute, childcare costs for 3 kids, and the number of meals I WASN'T cooking as a working mom, it *almost* saved us money.

One of the ways I decided to transition from working mom to stay-at-home mom was by running a business. It was a whirlwind of adventure - and an excellent way to both keep busy and interact with adults, lol.
